Building a ugly boat

Well the cutting on the Duck will be for hatches and tie down ,I am lost with out them.

Finally had time to get the Duck back in the garage and start finishing her and laying out the Hatches.

Well the saw and sander are working on the duck this week.

This boat should be way faster now ,dang I left the hull rough ,but in another day it will be smooth as a babys butt.

Finally got to finishing out the Duck. I got her sanded and and the black put on the bottom.
Tomorrow will be time to put on the varnish and start rigging her. Pics tomorrow.

Put the second coat of varnish on today.

She is starting to slick up.

Good sanding tomorrow and then the finish coat. If the rain holds off. :shock:

The Duck is looking slick and speedy. Now about the person paddling her , No... Better not go there since he looks like the rest of us. :roll:

Don't know if it improved my looks but I have gone from 237 when you were here to 204 this morning,sure is easier to tie my boots :lol:

Got the hatches cut and lips glassed in

Also set and glassed in the rails for the adjustable seat.

She is coming right along ,a few more days and she will be rigged out.
