    FlaMike's Pirogue Build!

I am a roller fan as well but also follow with a brush to get a nice smooth unrippled look that the roller leaves. I use the disposable foam rollers cut in half with a hack saw which leaves a nice clean edge. After I roll out the surface I then take one of those cheap black handle brushes from...

    Update on piro

JC, You wont be thinking about that little gap when your out a 1/2 mile in 50 ft. of water. You will be thinking about the lack of a gap in your seat vs. cheek  if you know what I mean, and why the hell you ventured that far from the shore in the first place. All kidding aside the boat is...

My UJ Pirogue is done! UPDATED with on the water shots

Thanks for the info TG, I have been doing some testing with both paddles and seat hieghts etc. I agree the single is harder to go staight with but it works well in tight areas just poking around. For me the double gets you there lots straighter.and quite a bit faster. I will post my findings...

My UJ Pirogue is done! UPDATED with on the water shots

Man TG That boat just gets better looking, especially when wet. You sure have some purty water to float down there. I will have to get down that way somwetime. I would love to hear more about how you think she handles as your boat and mine are just about the same size with three ribs and 15'...

    B-29 & Bell X-1 Flying Models

Yes Jack it did have a good P.W.R. what with 4 good sized engines like that it really hummed. Probably Zenoa Gas powered. It would be nice to lay in a sound track with sounds from the real plane instead of that whine but it's still impressive to watch. Wich brings me to another question Jack...

    B-29 & Bell X-1 Flying Models

Jack that is an awsome piece of flying. That 29 is very agile, although I don't think you would see too many full size 29's doing an outside loop muchless flying inverted that low. The X-1 is more my speed I mosly flew RC gliders thermaling and slope soared on the coast. Can you just imagine...

    PA Pierogie finishes his 1st

PA, You got a real nice boat there. It looks great and you probably can't wait to build another. Have fun and keep the wet side down. Is Yaker gonna let you put that boat on the Viper? You might need a wind tunnel test with it straped on cuz I'm pretty sure none of the racks you can buy are...
