Thanks for taking the time to post, we realize it takes some effort. I have some knowledge to gain with questions.... I'll ease into them one a a time. How did you "set" the rocker? was it predetermined?
Today's building was a “do over day” as we were stitching one of the short side panels we noticed one of the glue joints was a little loose, that “not enough glue” in the joint was about to bite us again! So we unstitched the side panels, put them flat on the table and reglued a few places...
Now we cut the panels out to their final shape. First we will use our cardboard patterns to
Trace the pattern shape on the cedar panels. We didn’t get a picture of this step, these photos are from a previous build.
We clamped the like shapes together, ie, two side panels, two bottom...

The building to perfect the perfect boat to suit our needs sure is fun. I am on a building break right now. In Texas with my Bride getting some more treatments. Hope to get something started soon.
This is especially true for Cedar often it's the green Rough cut available at the Box stores. There can be a tremendous difference in the weight of these boards I try to keep and store Cedar strips that I cut 4 or 5 years ago make a huge difference in the weight of the boat
