Brazos Queen spruce up
When I was building the Brazos Queen I was trying a lot of different things to customize her for camping and floating on my up coming trip on the Brazos.
A few days before Jack and I left I took a fall and landed on the combing
(215 lb sledge hammer) and I cracked it. I really didn't like the looks of the combing and since this was going to be a functional boat first and never have a spray skirt on her I redesigned the combing , I finished it the day Jack arrived for our trip.
The Brazos Queen has performed above all my expectations , load carrying , speed , wind signature love this boat. I needed to fix a couple scratches on the bottom and this boat was really my roughest finished boat so I decided to break out the sand paper and finisher her out like she deserved .
In a few days I will post her gussied up.
Ron

This boat is still the best one in my navy and will be around from now on.

If you guys see - or hear - Ron chugging towards you, batten all hatches. On his foredeck is a gun that is belt fed, tripod mounted, and water cooled.

He's kinda serious about security. "Being a little bit unsecure, Jack, is like being a little bit pregnant."
