Small Paddlers

I am building a Yostwerks Sea Tour 17EXP for myself but I have a great delima. What should I build for a smaller paddler say 5'5" and 125lbs with minimal paddeling experiance? I am questioning the displacement weight being enough for the boat to track properly. I was thinking along the lines of a Sea Tour 15EXP or a Sea Bee.I also have the plans for a Kudzu Craft / Curlew.

What are your thoughts and suggestions???

I have one on the drawing board for a 30 lb. boat with a 120 lb. person ....in kayakfoundry format.....The Curlew with the hard chines tracks good....

The granddaughter first time in a kayak....

I had forgotten about the pic's that you posted of your grandaughter in the Curlew. Thanks A Curlew should do nicely and I've already got the plans in the book.
