So, Ron? When does the build for a boat trailer for it start? Does it have an odometer on it to tell you your speed and distance traveled?Probably no need for one as we have gps's. There is no chance of falling off so you won't have to wear a helmet. Give us a trip report with things like how many snakes you ran over, Dogs chasing you, people making comments about the Geezer in the hippy-mo-bile. Congrats. on your new ride. Enjoy.

Ron......

I have seen the Terra Trike in action and it sure impressed me. They appear to be the way to bike around and be comfortable all the time , no bike seat trying to cut your rear in half and as far as falling off it , good luck with that. I don't think a person could unless they really worked at it. They are also really good for covering a lot of ground on trips.

Trikes are a lot faster then a normal bike and have been clocked over 50 mph on the track at Sebring , Fl.

One thing or a couple of things you might want to add to it.
1. A speedometer so you know the speed you are going but more importantly the amount of miles you have on it and the drive chain. It also will give you your daily miles and time in case you want those for a workout schedule.
2. A patch kit and pump for the tires.
3. A water bottle holder and water bottle so you can rehydrate in the summer heat.
4. Some bright clothing and a flag so you are seen by the blind motorists.

I have one of these on both bikes , they are wireless.
There is a maximum distance you can have between the sending unit and the computers head. If I remember it is about 32 inches. I would check with Terra Trike about them if you are interested or they might have a better one for the trike.

You will find that rack and trunk really useful , I would be lost without mine , it carry's a lot of stuff. A security cable to lock the bike to something , tire repair kit , a folding bicycle tool kit , ( http://www.amazon.com/EyezOff-18-Functi ... B0096OBKWI ) Chain lube , Bear Spray for dogs , Bandana and at times a Pistol and always a water bottle that is insulated. The 18 oz Wide Mouth Hydro Flask that goes with me all the time. Only thing I found that will keep cold liquids cold for a long time. :D

I figured for awhile I could just keep water in the back bag. The computer I want has cadence on it so I will have to order it. I need a pump, patch kit.
I will slowly get what I need.

Ron....

I got this pump last December and really like it , It has some features the others don't have, like a foot stand and built in air pressure gauge. It is a nice compact pump and can be set up for either type of tire valve . Presta or Schrader valve head and has a plastic thumb lock; weighs 0.49 pounds and fits on the bikes frame out of the way.

Ron.....

I was out for my morning ride when I remembered I do have a three wheeler , well sort of have one.
The wife had been bugging me to get her a three wheeler when she retired so after she retired we went over to the bike shop and she picked out one of the Sun Adult Three Wheelers and she was gracious enough to let me pay for it.

Yep , she has piratically worn the tires off of it , she has used it 2 that's TWO  times since May. The rest of the time it just sits in the work shop gathering dust or what ever bicycles that sit around gather.

One of the guys in the area has a three wheeler as his primary transpiration and he has it set up the way I would. He put a Hill Topper tire on the front of it.
The Clean Republic Hill Topper is a outfit that puts a electric motor on the bike , it's the center hub of the front tire with the battery pack on the bike anywhere a person wants to put it. Just replace the stock tire and rim with one of theirs.
The darn thing is good for 20 miles at 15 mph for each charge.

So I am keeping her three wheeler in good shape and when I get old like Jack  then I will put that electric outfit on her three wheeler and use it for running to the store and around town.

I really like the drive train ,it simple as can be and you can shift without backing off the peddles.
I just got back from a ride to sort of set the peddles and seat. 2 miles on asphalt 8 on dirt that 4 wheel drives have cut up bad. Rover handled it all.
The only thing that will slow it down is dry sugar sand and the only thing I am having a problem with is the seat moving.
I tried out the rover first and then some high performance trikes ,ICE and Cattricks, the rover just fit me better.
