Matt, I see the plans call for 3, 4, and 6mm plywood. Where are the different thicknesses used and why?

4mm for the main hull and 6mm for the cockpit coaming and optional bulkheads.

The 6mm isn't required. It's just easier to use to build up the coaming height quicker. You want about 3/4" under the top coaming layer to avoid pinching ....or getting fingers caught and breaking them... between the top comaing layer and hull.

3mm is an option for advanced/brave builders who want to go for an ultra light hull.
