Off To the Publisher

Over the last couple of years I've posted a bit of "The Letters North" here for your enjoyment. Well, the whole thing, title page and all went off to the publisher today. Some details remain to work out, e.g. font faces, fint size, etc. But, hopefully, pretty soon I'll have a book in the shops, at least up north and Amazon, etc.

If everything runs 100% smoothly starting today, there should be books in Amazon, etc in a month. And, we all know just how smoothly things go, now don't we?

A book signing party? Now, that's an idea. Any excuse to party .

That's even better than having seen Pat Boone before he became a virgin - again.

The very best to you on your new endeavor and may it be very successful , sell a million or more and remember all of us. Especially in the next publication of the Bayou Paddling and Cajun Camping .

We've decided if we need to thicken the book we might add an appendix of recipes for local foods or bait, etc. Chainsaw sharpening tips, maybe a pirogue design, etc. piper

Ah, so soon things change. The publisher first said submittal to shelves would be about four weeks. As of this morning we are looking at a release date in July.

Yup, everything is running just like normal.
