NUCANOE

I bought a NUCANOE last March and I'm really enjoying it but it needs a little more stability

any suggestions?

You might want to think about a square back or small jon boat. At 42" wide, it's not going to get much more stable for a paddling craft.

Can you provide more details about which model and your paddling conditions?

Try building a simple outrigger and mounting it far enough to the rear that it does not interfer with your casting.

There is also the option of just building something from one of the plans at JEM Craft that better suits your needs!!!

Keep in mind that the higher your bum is off the water the less stable this craft will be. Lower COG = more stable. Besides building your own is very satisfying.
