Let me try again to hi jack JD's post. I failed picture reducing the other day but got it this try. Grandma Joyce thought she needed a lap board, didn't want to be left out so I made two. I've been saving a Luan scrap piece for years, finally used it.

I recently made a wooden mallet for a gift. I liked it and then got carried away. There was enough left over wood for a cutting board.

Easy project for cold days and scrap wood. I would probably make more but there isn't much interest in old school tools.

I needed a new shop/yard stool. My old one has served me well but time and weather has taken it's toll. I had some leftover treated deck boards that should last a while. I got carried away building it strong enough for my full size statue and it came out on the heavy side.

I used some construction glue rated for treated lumber. After compleating the stool I noticed on the tube it said "for interior use". I assumed it was rated exterior because where else would you use treated lumber.
I'm not worried about the stool coming apart. This a picture of the underside.
