I've been meaning to get with Ron to see if we could modify the back deck like he did on his TV boat. Then modify the front deck so I could carry a generator. Portaging is gonna be trouble but then again if it were easy everyone would do it.
May as well go whole hog, and hook up a steam generator to the fire pot. A paddle wheeled steamer that smokes its own bacon while you roam waterways of the Yukon.
I can see it now - "Paul's Smoke Pole" Movie rights will follow, I'm sure.
To snuff out a candle, you use (bugles here) a candle snuffer. Made of brass, usually, and shaped like an inverted cup in miniature. Often have long, decorative handles. Bring one home from church.
