My grandson (not Jack :roll: ) and I went to the lake with a box of worms and visions of a big fish fry.
After much effort and hot work we only had 8 bream on the stringer. I wanted to be the sportsman and release (not have to clean) them. The grandson said it was enough for us and Maw Maw a "snack". I protested (hate cleaning the little buggers) and said it realy wasn't much meat on the whole bunch. He reminded me it was more than the one squirrel from last year's opening day.
Maw Maw Bee cooked enough potatos and squash to make lunch;
Guess who would not wake up to eat his "snack"?
Next time we will catch them, for sure.
