I pealed mine this morning , added some salt & pepper to it and ATE it. Now I can sleep in tomorrow.

But . . . . But . . . . But Chuck! What if’n the Easter Bunny is REAL??!! What if he brings MORE eggs. And you’re asleep! And neighbor kids snucked in. And got your eggs! What if’ n?
Never figured out why it's a Rabbit ( Not the Volkswagen one ) delivering the eggs. You would think it would be a multi colored chicken ( Maybe a Rhode Island Red ) or some other type.
At Easter and.Christmas, thinking logically and realistcally can spoil the holidays. Suspending rational thinking helps add to the enjoyment. Just like in other fairy tales. Rabbits and reindeer are parts of the merriment.
I don’t hide-’em...I put a dozen hard boiled of’em in a jar with chopped onion, sliced beets with beet juice, and a brine of vinegar with salt, sugar, garlic powder and a few shakes of hot sauce. In the morning I’ll open the fridge and voila!!!! Tasty purple eggs to last thru Easter!
