Water was rising and flowing. Not the best conditions for catching, but a great day to be on the water.

Looking good:

A couple of really good looking boats , and you guys even managed to catch something adding to the fun.
Looks a little chilly out there with the steam rising from the water and those thick jackets you folks had on. It's nice when you can share that enjoyment with your son and his Christmas present.
The area you were fishing sure looks like some of the water we have around here and I enjoy being out on , by the way it is some good fishing.

Thanks everyone for the compliments.
It was a fun day for us. The high and flowing water removed the "have to catch something" pressure and allowed us to appreciate the day for what it was. I'm not a photographer. but the pictures explain it. We gained some paddling experience, became more familiar with two new boats, and made some comparisons.
