Thanks texastom, Actually I ended the year off by finishing this re-build. The hull was in too good of shape to see it go to waste. It truly was a labor of love and I hope someone else thinks it was well worth it.

Do you think the composite panels, or the balsa mats could be used to build a paddle boat?

loafer, I thought about that too, but I think the name fits him well.
Beekeeper, I was wander about making a boat from the balsa mats too. See no reason it would not work and it should be strong and light.

If I have to change my name, swampwood should become "beekeeper", because he is the one who keeps bees(real ones). :roll:
