Hello Everyone!!!!
Not a recipe but a project for those of us folks that like ta HAVE A PROJECT AND MAKE RECIPES ON THAT PROJECT!!!!
I always love having a project to look forward to.
I have always wanted a Adobe Clay oven.
I plan/hope to build it this Spring.
I was talking about this to my father yesterday.
He told me that my Grandparents(Bernardoni's)
back when he was a very young child (early 1930's) had
a large clay/brick oven in their back yard like the ones
they had in "The Old Country". I had heard this story before
and it just intrigued me. The neighborhood that
they/he lived in were mostly Italian Immigrants.
Several of their neighbors would alternate weeks of baking in this
"Community" outdoor oven for everyone.
I can just imagine the aroma and
taste of the food coming from this oven!!!

Even if you aren't interested in building it , it
is very interesting to say the least. Luckily I have a
younger brother who is a skilled Concrete/Masonary
craftsman.
Thanks!
