Finished!!!! Well almost. Paddle needs a few coats of varnish, but the boat is "what it is".

A few practice cast before getting underway:


The "real" grandson paddles his new boat on it's first trip.


It was a good trip. Pawpaw even managed to catch a couple fish.


He even let me try the boat. I was impressed with its stability and ease of paddling. May be a little small for my oversized physique but doable. A very light and handy fishing rig.
