This last trip viewtopic.php?f=6&t=8309 I relearned an trick that I forgot by sleeping in the Hennessey Hammock which is an end entry one and not from the side.

The Clark is an enter either side hammock and this works really good for a quick comfort way of doing it. When you get it set up , then take your bag and place it in the hammock.

Unzip it about 3/4 of the way or a pinch more. Back one side of the bag against the side you are not using and then wad it up on the other side which you intend to use.

Night rolls around and you are going to hit the sack. Unzip the netting ( if you have netting ) and flip that wadded up part of the bag out so it is hanging down over the outside of the hammock , sit down in the hammock, swing your legs into the bag and lay down , flip the rest of the bag over you , close up the hammock and you are set. This is providing you want some of the bag under you and not all of it over you.

During the night if you want to step out and enjoy nature then just flip that one side of the bag out and when returning get in and flip it back over you. :D

2nd thing.......
If you would want to do it?
A pair of Crocs ( shoes ) are a blessing. You can wade in the water or just about anything else with them on. Leave the back-strap forward on them so when you go to bed in the hammock , just slip them off and if you get up during the night they are right there for you , slip them on and take out. They are nice when walking around on washed up Oyster shells , Coral and Sand.
On some beach sand , flip them off and go barefooted. Just remember where you left them.
