Grandkids are God's reward for you not killing your own kids when they were growing up!:) I find it hard to believe that we have a 27 yr old grandson. Even harder to believe that our kids are 47, 49 & 50.o_O We must have started when we were ten!

Get 4 old tennis balls. drill a hole the size of the legs in each one. When you want to sit in the chair, slip the balls on the legs... problem solved (sinking in the dirt wise) . I'll admit that getting out of my Kelty is a pretty ungraceful sight to behold. The chair is light, packs small...

I happen to like good fruitcake, not the stuff from Wally World. The ones he shot look like they may have been Claxton, a reasonably good cake.

Looks like a shoe keel and from the looks of the hull, it has done some fast water. The great thing about Grummans is they are like a Timex - takes a beatin' and keeps on tickin'. I've had mine for 47 years and it still gets used. My eldest has claimed it as his birthright so #2 son will end...
