    Well this is different!

Started off was gonna be a teardrop camper but you can only sit or lie down in those. Formply floor and sides. Had some left over fibreglass tent poles but they exploded due to tight radius bend. Electrical conduit, cheap and tough enough. Calico covering. Went for a "look" rather than...

    Well this is different!

Hey Jack, wood wheels are frowned upon these days, gotta move with the times. Wagon all folds down inside itself when on the road and even I can put a kayak or two on top. Car is a Grand Vitara, not huge but out of reach to roofrack for li'l ol' me.

    Hello ok.

Just thought I'd drop by see what was going on at the funny farm. Very quiet here, even more so at Jem? Can't have been something I said. Hope everyone is OK.

    Laker in Lithuania

Higher sided kayak equals more wind interference. It's all about trade offs. Cheers John.

    Fooling the boat gods?

The idea at the time being about altering the length of a short kayak to make it behave more like a longer kayak... and for all the reasons you reckon it achieves. I recall designers of the big boats believe it affects secondary waves that ocurr along the length of a boat. Hmm Joey when I posted...

    Some thoughts on weight

Yeah Jack but to play safe you could build a thwart out of a skinnier stick and a skinny piece of rope glued together  cheers John.

    17 lb pirogue.......maybe

Good stuff Joey, I'm sure that I'm not the only one that enjoyed your experiment. I know most of us have had sillier ideas than that. Cheers John.
