Wood Grain Orientation

When using solid wood it is important to consider how the wood's grain is orientated. It effects how stiff or strong a piece may be. I relearned this after making and fitting four support braces. Thankfully the problem showed itself before they were installed.

Lucky for me they will be painted so I made a plywood backing and glued them together.
