VERY good fall harvest/ early winter stock. I expect a very similar soup can be made using pumpkin - as in pie mix from a can.
Of course, you can always mix that pumpkin with milk, spices, and rum - but then, you would be drinking Tom & Jerry's. And no one here would ever want to do that.
