Or, a whole bushel basket of them? I was looking in some old magazines and found this ad. It was in the Dec.1941 issue of Popular Mechanics, printed just before Pearl. I'm guessing that the manufacturer switched over to military work the next month. Good price, though, while it lasted, at least in hindsight.

I wanted one of these when I was a kid because you didn't have to cock it. A wise man, my Dad over ruled me in favor of one with an exposed hammer. That allowed him to see if the gun was cocked or not. I like for the safety to be under my thumb. It would be a sweet gun to carry.
