Adolph's Meat Tenderizer.....
Make a paste with water and apply to the affected area. It will break down the proteins in the oil from the Ivy while numbing the skin.

Arm & Hammer Baking Soda....
Make a paste and apply to the affected area.

Carnation Non-Fat Dry Milk.
Mix one cup and 2 1/2 cups of water , fill with ice cubes , sprinkle with salt , saturate a cloth or "T" shirt with it and apply.

Oatmeal...
Use the oatmeal or Cheerios , ground up as a bath to soak in , one cup should do it for the oatmeal or cheerios when ground up.

Clorox...
Wash with soap & water then using a 50 50 mix of Clorox and water .. dap the affected area with it.

Witch Hazel.....
Apply directly to the affected area.

Preparation H.......
Use as directed right on the rash , as they say ... instant relief.... Also good for cuts when camping.
( I know of one person who in the late hours of the day used it as toothpaste in place of his normal paste... The taste , according to him was not that great , all of us thought it was quite funny ) :p
Real Lemon Juice......
Apply to the affected area.

Last but not lease.....

Something all or most of us have on camping trips. It is good to get a snake off of you , one bites you and it will not let go ... a little of this in its mouth and it will let go..........
Smirnoff Vodka......
Pour over the affected area , instant relief since it dissolves the Ivy's oil..... A shot or three to the person does not hurt matters.
