Well yesterday being such a nice day a few of us went for a geezer float . There were 10 kayaks and 5 canoes. It was just a one day fun float and covered all of 4-5 river miles. Started out at about 10:00AM and got off the water early around 5 ish.

There were several gezers and gits plus two youngsters. The youngins by the way were a great addition. No complaining or griping. Just enjoying the trip as did everyone.

We floated, swam, ate and repeated for the entire trip.

The water in this section is not nearly as clean as that below Toledo Bend Res. It was still a good float. IT also included going over the falls. I did not partake of that and walked around them. The water level at the lip forced you to scrape over and I saw no reason to deliberatly damage by boat just to say I went over it again.

Just a couple of pics.

The falls [don't laugh to hard] because of the low water it was about a 4 ft drop.
