Handel is laminate out of maple pine cedar ,and my second sheath turned out better.

Nice hollow grind, Ron. That's a tricky skill to learn. One side is fairly easy. It's the OTHER side that's a little harder. It has to be the same depth and start and end at the same points as the first side.
After about 8 or 10 knives, you'll be embarrassed to show anyone your first one. Working with steel your whole life, it'll likely take you less than that. NO one sees my first one. :roll:

I was lucky enough to have a custom knife maker that was a friend of mine. He died when he was 32 but if he was still alive he would be well known. I watched him build some blanks do the flat grind and hollow grind so I had an ideal what I need to do .
