Larry, i need some spots to tie things to. I'm probably going to put a "ladder" inwale a couple of spots tapered in and out so nothing hangs up on them. Did you epoxy the oak inwales or just varnish them? Makes a difference in how much i want to scrape off to glue the new parts in.

Thanks, piper

SW, it is hung safely, and dry, in my shed waiting for the time when i have wood, epoxy, SS screws, time and vision ALL AT ONCE.....and the honey do list is short, and no one is coming over to visit and lawn does not need mowing. Then I'll put some "ladder rail" in, a couple shorties in each end. Could be this year or next. Soon, anyway. piper

I had the day off and spent it carrying, dragging, and cursing the new boat back out of the shed. I set it on two trash cans in the carport and power sanded the BRILLIANT BRIGHT BLUE inside. I repainted it BATTLESHIP GRAY, which should be much nicer out in the sunshine. Just now, i wrestled it back into the shed.

(Note to self: Clean the GD shed.)
