I've covered him three time now as temps get close to freezing. Well tonight I had enough time for the skillet.

When frost nears, you can pull up tomato plants from the ground, leaving dirt on the roots, and hang them upside down. The fruits will slowly ripen and be almost as tasty as if still in the ground.

And, nothing beats the tang and taste of a fried, green tomato. I like them with some orange tinging up the sides. JARVIS good eatin'!

Oh yes me too in fact it's awfully hard for me to let the first big one ripen. I also like them fully ripened with about a spoonful of sugar on each slice so its a agonizing time.
