G’day guys,

Robin and I took the Sasquatch for a walk yesterday. With the higher water levels in the local lake, the waters have backed well up into Musket Flats creek and provide for a real nice skinny water experience.

Rob hasn’t been feeling too well these past few days so we opted to take the Sasquatch so she could just kick back, up in the bow and take in the sights.

The new heights in water levels mean that a lot of trees are now standing in water and have begun to die off. This has given us some pretty nice autumn colours. We have no deciduous trees here to this was a change for us.

It was also the first time Robin has been in Sasquatch so I was a little anxious to see both how the boat paddled two up and also, what she would think of it.

Robin loves this boat as much as I do. She is a kayak person so that is a pretty big call.

It was only a short paddle of a few miles each way but the creek is pretty sheltered and allowed for a real easy pace to sneak along absolutely silently and take in the wild life.

Here are a few piccies

Flood damaged Foot Bridge. This one is a bit of a mystery as it is in the middle of nowhere.

Great looking boat Mick, sorry Robin's been feeling poorly. I know getting on the water with her hero to paddle her makes the day that much nicer! By the Way who's the old fart you let use you boat while you took pictures?

Good on ya mate, ya'll!
