If you get stuck with rubbing alchohol and not stove alchohol try this:
Add table salt to the rubbing alchohol and shake it up.......again the next day or so......the salt combines with the water, making a heavy brine in the bottom of the bottle and leaving nearly pure spirits on top. Burns hotter and better than rubbing alchohol ever will.
