Just wanted to post about a friend of mine's 5 day/4 night "adventure" on the Apalachicola. One determined dude. And let's just say he ain't no spring chicken, which between that and the headwind and whitecaps and surf and distance makes is all the more impressive. The report (and many other good ones) is on the green wave forum, a good paddling information source for Florida. I told him he needs to next do the whole watershed starting up in northeast corner of Georgia. I mean heck, thats only a 500 mile trip. Happy Turkey day everyone!
