First Trip, First Fish

Took my new pirogue for a short paddle and fishing trip.
Kind of a late start. Took an extra 30 min. at breakfast stop answering questions about the boat

Slimed it right off the bat. Not a bass but it christened the boat.

Boat not varnised, but I still caught two bass. Not bad for first trip.

Lots pretty water. It was a great trip.

Took longer to get loaded and headed home than usual. The boat had to pose for pictures. People do like wooden boats.

It's a proven fact, wood boats do attract attention, especially those well made like yours. Once you varnish the inside it will be a real "chick magnet"! But remain concentrated on fishing

Sorry, I don't have a GPS. I prefer to get lost the old fashion way. :lol:
