I'm sure a lot of you have had this and some of you haven't , it is basically a southern meal.

I took a couple of pork steaks to night and did them on the grill.

I had the butcher slice them off about a 1/2 inch thick with the bone in them. Then did up a baked potato for the wife and a sweet potato for pups and me. It is a violation of the laws of nature to have anything but a sweet potato with the pork steaks. ( What the heck the wife is a Yankee and does not know better)

OK... Anyway when the potatoes are done ( I used the microwave to do the potatoes ) then bring the pork steaks inside , when they are done to your liking , trim the meat off the bone , have the spuds ready and enjoy supper.
Butter on both of the spuds and some sugar and cinnamon on the sweet potato..... makes you think of sweet potato pie.

This is one of the suppers I do when out camping with the gang , so far no one has refused that meal.

It is a very inexpensive and enjoyable supper which has a lot of flavor.
Some mixed greens ( Turnip , Mustard and Collards) with it does not hurt anything. :D

If Saturday afternoon is decent here, I plan to do some chicken shish kabobs on the deck. Different this time, will do all the meat together, and let folks do their own fruit/veggie combos and then add cooked meat as they want.

Big buncha Chateau de Cardboard (Yakus Alcoholicus' "Dago Red") will serve to wash it down.
