I was looking around for a cold soaking meal that sounded good and think I located one to put on here for future reference. Basically as a no cook summer camping meal.
Cold Soaked Lemon & Basil Couscous.
4.75 oz Couscous. ( Equal parts of Couscous & Water when soaking , for about 1 hour. )
When its soaked the add these...................
Sun Dried Toamtoes .5 oz
Freeze dried Apples slices .5oz
Dried Onion . .1oz
1 clove of Garlic diced
Dried Basil 1 Gram
The dressing ...................
1Tbsp Olive oil
2 tablespoons Lemon Juice
Dried Oregano 1 Gram
1/4 tsp Black Pepper
1/4 tsp Salt
Mix all of it together and add to the Couscous. Stir everything together and it's ready to enjoy.
