Recieved my plans from JEM Watercraft today. It is the Northwind and will be fully strip built. The boat is 17ft 2in long and 28.5 wide. unfortunately it will be about a month or so before I can get underway with. I am having knee surgery Friday and will be laid up for awhile, but it will give me time to come up with some ideas for the boat.

Darrel,
You'll enjoy this boat. The hull is a true "Swamp to Sea" craft that will handle waters from trickles to torrents. Matt did a lot of research for it, and it is a triumph. With 10 panels incorporated into its design, it is nearly a stripper already. Your efforts will further smooth out its curves. Good building and good paddling to you.

I was going to post an updated picture of the strip version but it pretty much looks like the stitch and glue version in the software I use. I could try and work on the rendering like I did with the strip Freedom:

That's the Strip Freedom 15 and I tried to draw in the wood strips.

but it takes a long time to do that.
