A New and lightweight backpacking system.

I have worked out the perfect lightweight backpacking system for myself. The following list does not include and consumables , WATER , FOOD or FUEL for the Alcohol stove. Also any adult beverage for the hiker since it is considered extremely consumable or perishable.
Also not included is any clothing worn or items carried in the pockets. Plus for a 3 day 2 night trip no spare clothing.

Always looking for a lighter way to do things when it comes to packing it. I found a system that works and you can leave the fuel at home.
Fuel does increase the packs weight but is not counted since it is a consumable. Irregardless it still is in the pack , on your back , and you are the mule carrying it.

What I found.
Snow Peak Trek 900 cup minus the frying pan lid..........................3.5 oz
4 dog titanium lid .............................................................................. .7oz

Yep , the same weight ( 17.5 ounces ) as the alcohol burner system without the fuel.

Using the Snow Peak Titanium Trek 900 and the Solo Stove Lite . Ditching the Snow Peak Titanium frying pan/lid that comes with the cup . That frying pan is really small , a one egg pan at the best.
Replacing it with the 4 Dog Titanium lid there is a weight savings.
The real weight savings comes from not having to carry fuel , Just pick it up as you go along or in camp. When using a alcohol stove I figure on 1 ounce of alcohol per meal ( 5 to 7 minute burn time ) and then multiply the total days by 4 or 5 , it does add up really fast.
4 or 5 ounces since there is a usually a hot beverage or two besides the normal meals.

The Solo Stove Lite in it's stuff sack will just fit inside the Snow Peak 900. The 4 Dog lid fits on the cup upside down , Cinch all of it together in the Snow Peaks stuff sack for a small , complete , rattle free unit.
