    UJ Pirogue maintenance

    The only problem I had with my pirogue is the cheap paint I put on it last year had to be sanded and repainted. I am so happy with it and will put many miles on it this year and hopefully years to come.

    I'm gonna start another one and sell it to my neighbor.And then I am gonna try and make a john boat and then I am gonna start on a house boat for my retirement home. :lol: I'm gonna need more beer. Donations anyone? I'll accept visa, mastercard etc.

    This boat is amazing! I built it to work with and I started using it to clean out overgrown pond. This boat should be called a water dozer. I used it to cut out a trail thru the brush and logs and when I would get stuck I would just rock it back and forth over logs, brush and thick weeds. I...

    Hahahaha. That is so funny. I give him a ten 10 for good posture . Hahahaha Notice how he keeps his back staight and in line with the seat. I am impressed! Not many can do this manuever without flailing like a windwill. So funny.

    Lets hear everyone's falling in the water stories. I already got mine. The boat was up against shore and I stood up and put one foot on land and the other when south with boat.LOL. At least it was only 3 ft deep.

    I just tried it out in my pond and it is amazing. It floated in 3 inch water with me in it. I can't believe how stable it is I even stood up in it.

    Unfortunately my truck is down for awhile. I went and got me them foam blocks and lots o rope and duct tape. That is a good idea bout putting seperate ropes on each side.

    Lucky for me I have a big brother. I know it looks heavy but I can lift it by myself. Its probably 60 lbs. I am trying it out tomorrow. I originally decided to build it to clean out my overgrown pond.It turned out so well I'll be taking it to area lakes.

    Hi all I just got my boat built and I had a thought about getting to the water. Only problem is I ain't got no car rack. Does anyone have any homemade concoction for transporting on a car?
