    Planning new powered pirogue

    I did not hit anything, I just wanted the shaft shorter because the waters where it was going to be used the handle would be above eye level so the prop would not strike bottom. It would have looked like ape bars on a chopper. :mrgreen:

    I have their Model #2641 10-Wick Kerosene Stove. Works well. Similar to the stoves the Vietnamese used on their sampans. I bought it several years back when it was about $10 less. At that time it came with a spare set of wicks.

    West System sells an aluminum etching kit to aid in bonding epoxy to aluminum. It should work with any brand of epoxy.
