I've not used one yet, but a lot of people use those little 2 wheeled carriers that you can buy or build to put under one end. Recipes for building one cheep from PVC are pretty easy to find. They seem to do a good job for some.
That boats awful purty to be chopin on (only my opinion).

Chuck, I had a grandmother that was a old time Flordia gal and there are some recipes of hers that I haven't been able to duplicate. One of them is her cornbread. She used to fry it in an 8" castiron skillet to have with fish or dried limas for supper. Does your old time recipe work on the stove...
If I were going to take the boat in the picture down in June or later before I touched it I would ck. up in the very point of the bow and stern as well as inside both pipes. The dirt daubers arent much of a problem except they stop up everything so if it's suppose to have something flowing thru...
Hello Mick. Would you mind telling us what those critters are in the pics, especially the furry critter your lady is hand feeding? I can guess at some of them, others I can't.
Thanks
Richard
As a side thought, what do you do to keep wasps, and dirt daubers out of it? Flordia has to be as bad as Tn. about them building everywhere.
Nice simple job. Thanks .

One thing that was factored in in my decision to buy a 1377 was length of barrel (distance between rear and front sight). Most others I saw were much shorter. I thought this would give more accuracy potential. Although to see me shoot it's not real obvious

I'm having a problem digesting this part. Does this mean he builds his ladder in an ark three inches low on each end from a straight line pulled off the center?

Mine is the Scout model of the 'Indian Brand' canoe, but I forget what the manufactures actual name is. It may not have been a very big or long lived company. Mine is shaped more like the one on the right, but it has a very flat bottom. As I remember width at gunnels is about 30" and has a long...
Jack it's just high because it's a canoe. I'll not do any permanent changes to it because of sentimental value. It's earned it's keep as is. I'll just have to get a move on building something more suitable for the situation. When I met my currant wife 30 years ago she had a 2yr old and a live in...
Think aerodynamically streamlining - smooth and round, like an egg. No square corners to catch the wind.
KayakJack, are we still talking about boats or are you making fun of my head
I knew it would have a effect, but didn't know if it would be noticeable with the high...
Thanks Matt. I'm trying to think of a way to fish thru our windy spring until I get my Laker 14 built. I think that boat will fix my wind issues and this is the spring it's coming to life no matter what  (I hope  )
I have a 30+ year old fiberglass canoe. I've spent a lot of hours paddling her and have had a lot of fun memories, but she has a problem that I have never been able to get around. She blows around like a leaf on the water.
Through reading on here I've learned (I think)that boat volume and decks...
Jay Leno went into the audience to find the most embarrassing first date that a woman ever had. The winner described her worst first date experience.
There was absolutely no question as to why her tale took the prize!
She said it was midwinter...Snowing and quite cold... And the guy had...
I wonder how many responded. I would like for it to have been a bunch.
Our elected offcials are under the misconception there job is to do whats best for us (in there opinion). It was always my understanding they are supposed to do what what the majority wants. Of course this could also get us...
This was a forwarded e-mail from a co-worker today. It takes just a couple seconds to click the answer on one question.
I don, tknow if the USA Today link will come up hot or not, if it don't please Google it. They at least need to know how many people they're PI--ING Off!  :evil...
Both beautiful boats. Really shows how differant the same boat can look. The Jacksons really did theirs up. Thanks for posting that, I don't get to Uncle Johns site very often.
