    Just a few recent pictures.

HA! Habit forming, I'll admit. I'll be attending PWYP(Practice What You Preach) again in April, and should get some more decent keepers there, as well.

    Just a few recent pictures.

I'll go ahead and say(before somebody else points it out) that these ain't the best photos. They are framed about like I'd imagined, but the lens was dirty, and I couldn't hold the camera as still as I wanted. Had to shoot them at 1600 ISO to get enough light in, and they were really...

Reckon about 5ft. or so. I wouldn't try that at night, though.

Don't get excited. Just a few recent photos. Every once in a while I actually get around to loading the darned things.

    Digital cameras

Since my A85 drowned, I now carry my Canon EOS 350D along. Pitty it doesn't use AA batteries, but the rechargable one does nicely for a long time, and I keep another in the other camera (EOS 400D), and a spare that they share. I have them labeled and rotate them out.

    Hammock camping questions

The only place that carrys shock cord around here is the outragiously priced West Marine and I didn't go by there today when I went to town. Yes, I had already replaced my previous fly's lines with white nylon cord, but I have now decided to use white paracord on this one. Longer of course...

    Hammock camping questions

My friend Chris has been putting off buying a Hennessey for years now, and finally came over with one of their large models tonight and we set it up and let him play with it a bit. He is hooked. It included the hex fly, and they shipped him an extra one, as well. He didn't want it, and though...

    Another Hairy Boat.

I like the addition of your rollers at the rear of your rack. When you get around to it, could you maybe post a pic of your setup?

Bloody Mary River 'nutha club trip.

Haha. I was just thinking that all the yaks that I saw looks like they were more along the "performance" models, compared to any I have owned. Especially the one I have now. I'd have needed binos to even see which way yall went. I have always wondered, do the crocs bother you if you are...

    Cape Fear Trip.

I also went and added a half-a-nylon shoelace to the ends of the little stretch cord on each side of the hammock, as it is a pain to keep them stretched and tie a decent slip knot at the same time. This way, I get extra length, and knot tying ability at the same time for no cost.

    Cape Fear Trip.

Not sure what model that one is, but I paid a little over $100.00 for it years ago. I would've prefered a brown or tan model, but what the heck. Amazed at how well it has worked. I have, since the trip- rigged the sack so that the head-end line runs through a grommet in the sack and stays...

    Cape Fear Trip.

Not real sure as to the distance. I was pretty well lost by the time we got to the put in point. Took about four hrs. or so after we got going the next day, and a few the day prior. Joe just uploaded a few of his pics. Sorry, I don't have a direct link to his account, but he posted...

    Cape Fear Trip.

OK, well Joe Flowers, Howard, and I had decided that weather-be-damned, we were going to get out on the water this weekend, one way or another. It had been raining off and on all week, and when I awoke in the wee hrs. of the morning to find that I couldn't even see my shed outside, due to the...

    Big Okie Gar

Sadly, you don't see too many large Gatorgar around my part of FL. anymore. Used to be common, but it is now pretty much a rareity.
