    Two more photos loaded.

I just loaded two more if yall want to have a look. I'll just post the link, as one is religious, and I don't want to take the chance of making anybody upset. Have a look if yall want to and feel free to comment where you feel the need, as I'm pretty thick skinned...

    Daypacks

My poncho makes a fantastic hooch, but never tried it as a hoochie! The pack that I carry is a Maxpedition Falcon II. Light and small enough, but plenty of extra room for clothing and such for an on-the-spot-unexpected packing arrangement... should the need arise. FWIW- What...

I found a new friend this evening.

My pleasure to share. Damn, Jack- I completly forgot that you were in Lansing. I was just up there visiting George in Durand. We went up to Bois Blanc Island and camped with little more than a tarp for 3 days. I wish I'd have remembered to get up with you.

I found a new friend this evening.

Thanks. Background is not altered, BTW. It is out of focus grass, with whole photo turned 90 degrees for horizontal print. Cool snail as well. I really need to get out more. I've been way to caught up with work, lately. I'll try to do better.

I found a new friend this evening.

I had finished up with the machete on my ditches and was about to close the shed door when I spotted him watching me. Now granted, I don't have the right lens for this stuff, and this shot was handheld, AND in my haste to make sure I got him before it got too dark- I painted him straight on...

I just uploaded the last of the photos from last weeks...

... Trip to MI./Bois Blanc Island, if yall want to have a look. Couple of nice looking young ladies, in various attire, some nice portraits, and even a new landscape section (all taken there). I'd love to hear what yall think about individual photos. Thanks in advance...

    Testing the new lens.

Glad to hear it. Girl #2 is supposed to help me model the new Hennessey Hammock that I just got in for a new review article. It is the larger Survivor A-sym in digital patern, snake skins, and hex fly. Thinking about some strung between trees over a swamp. Keep yall posted.

    Testing the new lens.

Well now- that is kind of what I was wondering. If such things are not appropriate, then I can stop- with no hard feelings at all. I can still post camping and fishing stuff?

Non-Outdoor/Photoshoot picture link- Just in case yall...

Na, just stay-at-home-Mom. Does the occasional Modelling work as she can. I was thinking that yall must not have liked me posting that stuff here and was going to ask to have the post pulled. Still can pull it if yall want. No offense taken. I just uploaded the last picture from that...

    Yet Another From Diving Sparrow.

Jack, I wish that I could take credit for that, but not even close. I just designed the knife. It is made by a feller up in Canada named Abe Elias. He runs Diving Sparrow Paddle Works and Diving Sparrow Knife Works. Been traveling back and forth with the work visa thing for as long as I've...

Oh yes, just like mine but with purty slabs. He called a few minutes ago and said that he had just finally checked the mail box yesterday and it had been sittng there since Friday. Lucky guy.

    Yet Another From Diving Sparrow.

This little gem was modeled after my Bootlegger Knife- in 1095, but made prettier with Zebra Wood Slabs, and should be on its way to my Brother in Law in FL. before the day is over. Sorry Abe, I know that these photos don't do it justice.

    Pocket knives.

Not big on all the "tactical" looking pocket knives. Odd shapes, bevels, and steels that just don't work for me. About the only pocket knife that I carry is my Case Trapper. I would like to try one of those Ruslocks though, but wish they came with more blade options...
