There both 52". There still hard to shoot straight. If ya get used
to one, a 60" is like driving a Caddilac. I never shot a 48" before.
Bear used to made a counterweight that screwd on the front. One
of them has the threds for it. I was thinking about making one. They
look like plain old...
Kodiak Mag with Kodiak to show scale
A neat little bow.

Don't get into archery. You'll start collecting these things. You might
even get to the point where you let a arrow loose and hit what your
aiming at. Then it's done, your hooked. Lifetime. 8)
The one in the pichurs is a "Super Kodiak" the same one Fred Bear
used in his adventures. Then he went to a takedown version.
It was easier to carry on a Connie as it broke down in 3 sections.
It fit in a small box to carry. Fred liked that. As a plus you could
change the...
Sicily huh? The one I got now, her grandparents were from Palermo.
The other one I was talking about was a "Mick". A red carrot top.
Only she was more yellow top than red, but mick thru and thru.
I guess a latent red head. Most times we got along just fine. Just keep
any weapons out of...
Heres a pic
Not too bad, but I'll get another one anyhow. Not to hard to repair
with a torch and a little work. Maybee 2.50$ in materials. Cept it won't
be pretty like new, but it will be usable.
The lid has 3 legs on there too. Make a nice fry pan.
Plain old flux coated brass. Preheat the section to be brazed.
Red color with a rosebud. Tack it on the ends. Let it air cool.
If ya got the piece lined up good, Preheat and finish the crack.
A little doctoring with a die grinder and it's done. The flux is safe
as it's just Borax. The...
Aw come on. Just cause their nuts don't mean they can get
discriminated on. Sometimes their kinda fun/annoying. I
remember that time one of my girlfrinds threw the X-large
Singer sewing shears at me. I thought damn, she missed and
was kinda amused. As they whizzed by my nose, they went...
FedEx is usually pretty good. I'm kinda surpised.
The hurricanes start over here but we ship them over
to the East coast before the earthquake strikes and the
buildings and fwy's fall down and go clunk bang.
Talked to the DO company representative and she threatened
to send out...
Can ya make beer in a DO?
Mine finally showed up Pre-Broken kudos to FedEx. Seems they
have had lessons from the post office covering the proper "mangling"
of things that they can break. Yup, even cast iron. Somebody
should get an award. Such talent is not easy to find!! 8)
Tx river you are makin sense to me now. This one is 5' long and it I
swear it feels like 70# drawn back. It's quite a witch to draw.
Never had one like this before. Gonna take getting used to I guess.
Kinda hard to hold it. Keith
I tryed the peanut oil and it seems to work a lot better than canola
oil. It don't spit all over so bad. Kinda pricey, but ya get what ya pays
for. It's worth the extra cost. The food tastes more better too, which
justifies the cost.
Got a string from 3riv's for the kodiak. Put a knock on and shot
a bh into 3/4" ash.
3/4" ash is pretty stought stuff.
Another veiw. 3/4's wussie draw. Full draw would most likely blow thru.
(but not inside house!)
The crack is just a scratch. The investment paid off. :D :D :D
