Woodman, The deck is 4 1/2"w (each side) and the cockpit is 15"w at the back seat. 8'-4" long

Really like the idea of using the deck bbraces as rod holders too. :idea:

Re: New Design I forgot to mention the bottom panel is 3/8" BC plywood. It was made when they use to know how to make plywood with a solid core. :!: :lol:

Re: New Design The bottom panel has no cuts (spliced at 8') or supports in it. It is rolled from bow to about 9' back and then is flat to the stern.

MM, If this boat sails as good as it looks you should be very proud! Forget my ignorance, but what did you make the cross braces out of that support the outriggers. I have never sailed, as you can tell.

Thanks Mick. I think that being able to have a center seat position in this build will take care of the problem Dave had with his boat. It will allow a single paddler to sit more forward and put the front of the boat lower in the water. Making it track better and help with the wind situation he...
