Have a Happy Easter!
I'd say a light cotton with flowers on... that's what I like to wear in the summer
Sorry Ron, I couldn't resist that. I think I have seen some threads about this in the UK. Try this one:

Does anyone else use a workshop vacuum cleaner? I can't justify an integrated system but have had my eye on an Earlex wet-n-dry machine designed for workshops. I went out and invested in one and I'm a happy camper.
It is a vertical cylinder around 14" dia and about 2' tall on castors. It has...
Glassing the inside
Evening All,
Well I have started on the inside now. There has been a delay while I decided how I was going to tackle the inner gunnels and breasthooks. Now they have been made and dry-fitted, I have taken them back out to glass the inside.
What a pig of a job that was...
On this side of the pond...
Things never said would have to include:
"Kebab? - No, I wouldn't have room for minced probably-lamb covered in chilli sauce in a pitta bread after all that beer!"
Hi Spike,
YOU ARE NOT ALONE !
You have just about described every single nightmare I have just had with my glassing... standby for advice from more experienced folk.
OUTSTANDING WORK !!
That is a beautiful piece of work (I especially like the self portrait in the hat  ).
Just be careful with those panels. It is going to be a very special boat.
Hi VTFogg,
A bit slow over here at the moment. I have made the breasthooks (the triangles at the ends) and am now in the process of setting out the inner rails. Quite a job though. I may be making too much of it but having decided to go for ventilated rails using 2" blocks I am trying to decide...
Oooohhh Mick. Yeah that looks terrible... not!
I would not have noticed at all if you hadn't pointed it out! I am prepared to bet $5AU no one ever points it out to you. They'll be to busy admiring how beautiful it is :)
I know what it's like though. I ended up recutting the small...
Hi Scooter,
I glassed right up to the outer rail which reduces the feathering needed for the edge of the glass. Looks like a sanding job to me. I waqited untill my messy epoxy was hard then used wet-and-dry with water.
It seemed to clear up the runs OK and feathered the edges of the glass...
Hi VTFogg,
Looks like you're catching me up (not actually as I have done som lassing and you've got that to come (he he).
Here is an earlier post while I was planning and scheming:

Hi Brearridge,
It is all a bit mad over here. If a house burglary involved less than about $2000 the police are not really interested. If you report that you have been burgled the most you are likely to get is a copper around the next day with a form for your insurers.
Mind you if your...
Hi VTFogg,
No problem. Foolish is how you should feel if you had stuck it in place without asking.
Done worse myself. I have dismantled and fixed all kinds of stuff, rebuilt it carefully refitting all the fiddly bits and then found a vital final component on the bench. Arrrgghhhh...
Hi Kurt,
Yes that's a neat way of doing it. That's also a nice piece of timber that you are cutting them from.
I thought it looked like a large set of planes on the wall in one of the canoe pics... then I found this link:
