Brunswick River (Australia) 1 Feb 07 with Movie

Hi All Was on the Brunswick River (Australia) at 6:30 yesterday morning. Not much happening, just picked up a couple of whiting. On the 'up' side, I took some video of a creek running off the Brunswick that I feel needs to be seriously fished as it looks a really great fishing hole. The...

    Cool Canoe---The Movie

Hi Kayak Jack I think you're right, curved would be better. However, making the foam that shape should not be a problem. The pontoons that I have are a great shape but as I said, they are factory made. But if anyone wants detailed photos and dimensions of mine I'll be happy to post some on...

    Crate for my canoe

Hi All It seems that everyone has a drink crate for their Yak and I didn't. I was feeling a little 'left out' :( so I decided to make one for my canoe. While a crate is not absolutely necessary in a canoe, it sure would keep stuff where you want it. :) The rod holders are fully...

    Cool Canoe---The Movie

Hi Obie The outriggers work well. When you are cruising along, they are only in the water an inch or so creating very little drag, no more is needed. Its when there is a bit of rough water or when you move aroung in the canoe is when they really do their job. The outriggers that I have are...

Super Cheap Canoe / Kayak Trolly

Hi David I does get along well. I ran mine for 3 hours on Monday and there was no noticeable drop in power. I should run the battery flat one day just to see exactly how long I get. The outriggers are great as well. There is no worry about ending up with the keel pointing at the sky :) John
